I got my yearbook today. It wasn't anything spectacular, I'm a little disappointed to find out that the book that will be the sum of my freshman year memories is a half-inch thick and sponsored by Mars. All in all it was actually kind of depressing to look at. The girl that I thought I had gotten over was in there three times, being beautiful as always. I stopped looking at it to keep myself sane.

In other news, I bought Spore finally. It's a pretty good game, but I'm wondering why I haven't come across a planet full of penis creatures or something yet. I'm pretty indecisive so I really need to come up with a creature design I like before I destroy my entire galaxy.

My pirate name is:

Calico Mary Kidd

Often indecisive, you can't even choose a favorite color. You're apt to follow wherever the wind blows you, just like Calico Jack Rackham, your namesake. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!

I was at a party yesterday night. In this case, I mean party in the "Mike's having a really loud rave while his stepmother is out of the house" sense of the term. All was well for a while. Dancing, techno, freeze pops, what more could a girl ask for?
It was an awesome time until Alexis decided to invite these stupid guys who not only brought beer (which was specifically requested to not be brung by the rest of us) but took over the picnic table out back that I was sitting at to get some air in order to play beer pong. This caused me to sit at a neighboring lawn chair which was for no apparent reason soaking wet. I had a towel wrapped around me for the rest of the evening.
I just ignored them since I only had a half-hour before I got picked up anyway. I stuffed the towel partway into my jeans and continued dancing on the other side of the house with people I actually knew. That was until Mike's stepmother decided she was coming home, and as Mike forgot to mention, she's a cop.
I wasn't even having a good time anymore so I decided that it was time to skedaddle. I wanted no part of any of that. I called my dad early to pick me up, and he drove me and Courtney home. He said it was the right thing to do but I still feel bad leaving Mike by himself with those guys.
